PHOENIX, AZ. - AMMEX Global Assurance funded the development and launch of www.gulfofsantaclara.com. The Gulf of Santa Clara, known locally as “El Golfo,” is located just 80 miles north of popular Mexican beach destination Puerto Penasco/Rocky Point, Sonora or approximately 60 miles south of San Luis, Arizona.
A beach within reach, the Gulf of Santa Clara is an area that has gradually grown in interest to locals and visitors alike given its features. The destination is famous for its endless beaches and amazing sand dunes. Thousands of tourists every year come to enjoy the sun, sand, & sea along this pristine stretch of the Sonoran Gold Coast.
As part of AMMEX Global Assurance’s commitment to help improve the quality of life in the communities it does business in, the company funded the costs of the website to give the sleepy fishing village an online presence and community voice that can be now showcased to the world.
“What excites me most besides the community forum we had built to give local people and tourists an opportunity to interact and connect with each other live on the website, are the tools for the business community to market themselves so that they can be found and accumulate greater success,” says Brian Krupski, Founder/CEO of AMMEX Global Assurance.
AMMEX Global Assurance helps raise awareness of travel safety to Mexico during Spring Break 2009

TUSCON, AZ. - AMMEX Global Assurance representatives traveled down to the University of Arizona during UofA's Fraternity and Sorority Program’s second annual Hunter White Safe Spring Break Program. The March 1 event was held at the Student Union Memorial Center Ballroom.
The event honors the memory of Hunter White, a UA freshman who died in 2001 after a spring break car wreck while vacationing in Mexico with friends. The driver of the car, Mark Sterner travels across the nation to share his story and spoke during the event. In 1994, Sterner was a university student at Rhode Island's Johnson & Wales University spending spring break with four friends in Florida. The group spent one night drinking alcohol and, instead of designating a sober driver, Sterner opted to drive. He wrecked the vehicle and three of his friends died as a result and Sterner was later charged on three counts of manslaughter and served a prison term.
After the program, AMMEX Global Assurance representatives passed out materials raising the awareness of how important it is to follow all driving laws in Mexico which includes: wearing seatbelts, purchasing mandatory Mexico Auto Insurance, and to not drink and drive.

AMMEX campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of insuring your assets abroad.

Labor Day weekend every year kicks off the high tourism season for Mexico as travel shifts to higher gears. September is a time where the hot and humid weather begins to leave and the cooler ocean breeze invades coastal towns creating a climate of true paradise. However stricter travel regulations continue to hurt the tourism industry in Mexico. Rafael Gonzalez of the Puerto Penasco/Rocky Point Convention and Visitors Bureau stated that tourism dropped 12% during labor day weekend this year over last year’s numbers. This does not mean that auto insurance should be ignored with less traffic, it’s still the law! You still absolutely need to get Mexican liability coverage. No US company can provide Mexican LIABILITY COVERAGE for damages you cause to third parties. In addition, Hurricane Gustav and the many other continuous Gulf Coast and Yucatan natural disasters remind us every year how important it is to secure your real estate investments in coastal towns. Boats are no exception to this. AMMEX has taken a pledge to actively campaign raising the awareness to foreigners the importance of insuring their assets when traveling to or investing in the country of Mexico through various online media and print materials.
